Easy and Tasty Christmas Desert !

Yule log with 'confiture de lait' (Dulce de Leche)
and mascarpone


For the cake:
4 eggs
70g of sugar
75g of flour
25g of butter
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
 
For the filling:
250g of mascarpone
2 tbsp. of icing sugar
 
Prepare the cake: preheat the oven to 200°C (th 6-7) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the butter. Break the eggs separating yolks from whites. Whip the egg-whites to a light mousse with the vanilla sugar and keep chilled.
 
Whisk the yolks with the sugar for a while, add the flour and melted butter. Gently add the egg-whites with a soft spatula. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on the plate.
Bake for 8 minutes.
 
Take the cake out of the oven, immediately place a damp cloth on it, turn it over, remove the baking paper and roll the cake on itself  using the cloth.
In a bowl, mix the confiture de lait and the mascarpone.
Unroll the cooled cake and spread  this mixture on it.
Roll back the cookie and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap to give it a form of well-rounded log.
 
Keep it chilled for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
To serve, unwrap the log and sprinkle it with icing sugar.
